We are excited to welcome Brittany O’Neill to the agency as our newest Director. We recently sat down with Brittany to discuss her journey and her new role at BG.

Can you give us a background of your career leading up to when you joined Belfort Group?

My father considered his “hook, line, and sinker” in winning local elections was sending his 10-year-old daughter outdoor knocking. It was through those initial conversations with neighbors and community members that I learned the necessity of good government and community outreach. Flash forward nearly two decades later, I have built a career in community-based organizing and political campaigning that has flipped local party control.

In addition to my early years in political campaigning, throughout my career I have learned the importance of bringing together both creativity and strategy. This includes using newer campaign models in peer-to-peer texting and digital advertising with old-school grassroots organization ensuring messaging is always flowing.

What are you most excited about in your new role?

It is incredibly exciting to join a vibrant team and expand the Government and Public Affairs capabilities of BG. I have a passion for building better communities and developing lasting projects that will impact the lives of residents.

Also, I am elated to bring passion to the projects I work on and find creative opportunities to help clients achieve their goals.

What do you see for you and BG in the future?

BG is on the rise! Without a doubt, I see BG playing a significant role in shaping the future of the Boston community, Massachusetts development, and higher education institutions that shape our future leaders. I am thrilled to be a part of that growth and look forward to contributing my creativity, passion, and strategy to the team in order to reach our ultimate shared goal of positive change.
