Belfort Group (BG) was retained to raise awareness of the William James College name change from Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology to William James College, which would be announced at their annual gala. We needed to establish William James College as a leader in the graduate psychology education space.
To achieve the goals set by WJC, BG assisted with the overarching strategic communications platform, including messaging around the name change and a press release, pitch and media list for the name change and gala. We responded to student and faculty questions and concerns regarding the name change, promoted the change over social media, and assisted with media at the gala.
Belfort Group secured media placements in nine outlets, including the Boston Globe and the New England Psychologist helping to successfully communicate the name change and build awareness.
