Q&A With Belfort Group’s New Website Production Manager, Heather Weir

Website Production Manager Interview: Meet Heather Weir

In this Website Production Manager interview, we sit down with Heather Weir to discuss her promotion, her vision for website development at the Belfort Group, and how she plans to elevate our web strategy. With website development now positioned as a core service area, Heather shares how thoughtful UX, strong collaboration, and strategic leadership will drive the next phase of growth for our digital practice.

Hold on to your hats — there’s a new Website Production Manager in town.

BG has long been known for its eye-catching, high-performing websites that our clients love. Now, with Heather stepping into this leadership role, we’re doubling down on website development as a cornerstone service offering.

You recently got promoted to Website Production Manager, can you discuss what your new role entails? What are the responsibilities and tasks you will be acquiring?

As the Website Production Manager, my role begins with overseeing all aspects of website production. From there, I connect with clients to better understand their unique design needs. In addition, I coordinate closely with our team of designers and developers. Ultimately, I ensure every project delivers personalized solutions and high-quality work.

Our website development service has been a vital part for BG as you and the creative team have created amazing, eye-catching websites, that our clients love, for years. What is this practice going to look like with you at the helm and how is that going to be different from what we are doing now?

I’m very excited to continue our focus on developing exceptional and user-friendly websites that meet the unique goals of each client. One key difference is that we now position our comprehensive website services as a core service area at BG. Communication and collaboration between the leadership team, agency marketing team, and web development team will be essential in reaching the long-term and short-term goals we’ve set for ourselves.

What are you looking forward to most about leading this service at BG?

I’m most excited to create unique, personalized web solutions for our clients. I also challenge myself to bring those ideas to life. I’ve been interested in website design and UX research since my undergraduate studies. Continuing to grow in this field is incredibly rewarding. It’s exciting to see our website development team expand. New talent continues to elevate our work.

What is the best advice you’d give to a company that’s looking to develop a website?

Before starting a website project, I would advise to first define your goals for the new website. Ask yourself what you want the website to achieve. Determine the actions you want visitors to take. Identify the features and functionality you need to include.

Outlining your key objectives will help create a clear roadmap for your website project ahead.
